Zambia Multiple Entry Visa

A Multiple Entry Visa allows the traveller to enter Zambia multiple times during the validity of the visa. The fee is US $150. Multiple Entry Visas shall only be issued by Headquarters through the e-visa facility.


A visa an endorsement on a valid passport of a foreigner, which is confirmed by examination by an immigration officer at the port of entry, granting that person the authority to enter Zambia. The validity of the visa is not the period in which the holder is entitled to remain in the country but a period within which the holder has to enter Zambia. As such foreign national are required to use other instruments offered by the Department to remain in the country legally.

Zambia Day Tripper Entry Visa

Zambia Double Entry Visa

A Day tripper visa is issued at a port of entry [no available on-line] to a tourist who visits Zambia for a period of less than 24 hours and makes exit through the same port. The facility will also apply to tourists visiting Zambia and wish to visit a neighbouring country and re-enter within 24 hours

Day Tripper visa allows single entry for under 24 hours. Valid only at the Kazungula Border (with Botswana) and the Victoria Falls Border (with Zimbabwe). The same port of entry must be used for entry and exit.


Note: Currently, the Day Tripper shall only apply at Victoria Falls and Kazungula Border Controls.
KAZA UNIVISA
Zambia KAZA UNIVISA Entry Visa

This visa allows tourists to obtain one visa to visit both countries multiple times. The visa is valid up to 30 days as long as the holder remains within Zambia and Zimbabwe. It also covers those who visit Botswana for day-trips through Kazungula Borders.


This visa is now available online (e-Visa) and can also be obtained at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport, Victoria Falls Border Control and Kazungula Border Control. If obtained on-line, holders must arrive at a Zambian Port of entry.


The KAZA visa is valid for travel between Zambia and Zimbabwe and day trips into Botswana. It’s available at the international airports in Lusaka and Livingstone and at the land borders at Livingstone (Zimbabwe border) and Kazungula (Botswana border). It costs US$50 and it is valid for 30 days.

On leaving Zambia, all air passengers must pay a departure tax of US$25. This is normally included in the cost of an air ticket, you will be asked to pay separately in Zambian Kwacha if it is not.

There is also a Security Charge payable by all departing air passengers. The cost is US$3 per person for domestic flights and US$5 per person for international flights. As above, this is normally included in the cost of an air ticket but you will be asked to pay separately in Zambian Kwacha if it is not.


Note: The validity of the visa is not the period in which the holder is entitled to remain in the country but a period within which the holder has to enter Zambia. As such foreign national are required to use other instruments offered by the Department to remain in the country legally.
Zambia Transit Visa

What is an e-Visa? An e-Visa is an alternative to conventional visas issued by the Department of Immigration in Zambia (through Headquarters, Ports of Entry and Zambia Missions) permitting foreigners who require visas to enter Zambia

This visa is issued to a foreign national who require visas to enter Zambia and is transiting through overland and shall be valid for a maximum period of seven (07) days


Transit visa is for those who are transiting through Zambia using land transport.

Zambia Gratis Visa

Is any type of a visa issued at no fee. it may be issued at Zambia Missions Abroad or at Ports of entry to members of the Diplomatic Community on presentation of letters of accreditation and/or Diplomatic Passports. It is also issued to diplomats not accredited to Zambia but visiting Zambia on official business as long as they present letters of invitation.
