Ngorongoro Park Tanzania Tourist Destinations

This a meteoric crater which was formed millions of years ago. It lies at one end of Serengeti national park. Amazing place to see all animals, Elephants, Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Rhinos, Hippos, birds, etc.

Beautiful serene oasis. Large variety of animals to see. Had a great tour guide who brought it to life. Shout out to Jerry the Rhino. Beautiful crater of 20km wide packed with a ridiculous concentration of highly diverse wildlife ! If you have limited time, don’t miss out this place.

Ngorongoro Ecosystem

The Ngorongoro is a once-in-a-lifetime must-see destination - a unique ecosystem in an enormous twenty-plus kilometer cross-section caldera caused by an historical volcano eruption. Access permit is for six hours during day time only and costs a hefty sum - but worth it. Inside the caldera it is actually quite peaceful despite a number of safari vehicles which are roaming around - thanks to its size. Unique abundance of wildlife, it is essentially a big natural zoo.

An ecosystem within an ecosystem! So much life here. It feels like an exclusive community set apart from the surrounding parks. You'll see animals from lions, to hippos, to warthogs, flamingos, giraffes, and everything in between. If you're lucky you'll run into (not literally) some rhinos! The drive around is so beautiful, so take it all in and be in the moment and try not to worry so much about taking pictures. Enjoy one of the best homes in African wildlife!

The Ngorongoro Famous Parks

Amazing place. Hordes of wildebeests and zebras. Also managed to catch a glimpse of a rhino as well. Scattering of other animals such as warthogs, buffaloes etc. Area was cooling and breezy. Crater is so huge it's almost unfathomable how such a crater can form. It is a vast wildlife sanctuary at Tanzania. Enriched with widespread grassland a great ecological balance of wild life are found here. It is the entry point to Ndutu, Cerengeti and the like.
